I am thankful for my friends because they are here for me and I am thankful for my family because they are also here for me too. I am thankful for my school and teacher. My teacher because she helps me learn new things every day. Then my school because when i’m hurt they will fix me up and I am just thankful for my family and friends also my school and teacher. Also I am thankful for my life. I am so so so lucky for everything I love my life and where I live. Also I am thankful for my mum and dad and Nana and Granddad because they fed me. I am thankful for the trees because they help me breathe. I am thankful for oxygen so it can help me breathe. I am thankful for the earth because if the earth was not here I would not be here right now. I am thankful for my cousins like Ethan and Josh because every time I'm hurt they will see if i'm OK and my brother will also help me when I'm hurt. I like them helping me. I am thankful for Papatuanuku because he brings rain down to the earth.

Tacking risk

If I could do everything I take risk and ride a horse I would ride my horse to my Uncle Robs. Also my friend Stevie's because my Uncle Rob has a horse and my friend Stevie has two horses. I could say to my friend Stevie I have a horse now. I could say my horse is very tall and is a girl too. Her name is called shine because she has shiny eyes  and when she blinks her eyes are shimmery.

The risk I'm taking is, I want to ride a horse because my uncle Robs friend lives next door to him
and my friend Stevie lives on a farm. I don't ride on uncle Robs horse because his horse is too
big and when my uncle Rob goes on his horse it runs like a super hero. It is the tallest horse if ever seen. My uncle Rob doesn't ride on her because she is pregnant. My uncle goes on Charlie his other horse it goes super fast like the other horse.

Fundamental skills

Yesterday He Puna Kotuitui went to fundamental skills.  The teacher's name was called Dinelle her helper was called Dontay. Everyone got a one buddy and one person had a ball and the other person runs and the person that has a ball runs to tags them on the arm. We got into groups and we learnt about the different skills we needed. It was really fun.

How to Make slime

What you need:
1. A bowl,a wooden spoon, body lotion, toothpaste and a freezer

2. Get the toothpaste open the lid squeeze some of the toothpaste in the bowl. Stir the toothpaste with the wooden spoon. 

3. Get the body lotion open the lid. Put the lid on the table and there is a little whole and fas the side that as the lid and squeeze little pits at a time.

4. Then get your wooden spoon. The big side of the spoon you put in the bowl and hold the skinny side of the wooden spoon with your hand and stir it.

5. Then you open the freezer and put the bowl in the freezer for 10 miners.

6. After 10 miners take it out of the freezer and put it on the table and take it out of the bowl and play with it.

7. Then me and you clean it up if it is a mex.

8. Then I'll say thank you Miss Wilton Scott for helping me make the slime and thank you for reading my long story about slime.

My Art

In the last few weeks we have been doing art about poppy's and trees because it is a different season and the poppy had to be red and the outside or the poppy was meant to be green. My poppy looked like a real poppy.

Handwriting

On the first week back from the holidays we did handwriting. We have different groups for handwriting. we have to do the date first and we have to do our best handwriting. I was one of the people that were first. My letters was r,s,v running swimming and very and a number that was seven.

Welcome back

Welcome back to Carlton school. In the last weeks we went to the library to get a book, and went for a swim too. Also we went to the show for science and Mr Ohia.  I enjoyed swimming. I like to play on the senior play ground with my friends. I have learnt how to play a game called maths tag and how to get on the class website and blog.
