How to Make slime

What you need:
1. A bowl,a wooden spoon, body lotion, toothpaste and a freezer

2. Get the toothpaste open the lid squeeze some of the toothpaste in the bowl. Stir the toothpaste with the wooden spoon. 

3. Get the body lotion open the lid. Put the lid on the table and there is a little whole and fas the side that as the lid and squeeze little pits at a time.

4. Then get your wooden spoon. The big side of the spoon you put in the bowl and hold the skinny side of the wooden spoon with your hand and stir it.

5. Then you open the freezer and put the bowl in the freezer for 10 miners.

6. After 10 miners take it out of the freezer and put it on the table and take it out of the bowl and play with it.

7. Then me and you clean it up if it is a mex.

8. Then I'll say thank you Miss Wilton Scott for helping me make the slime and thank you for reading my long story about slime.

My Art

In the last few weeks we have been doing art about poppy's and trees because it is a different season and the poppy had to be red and the outside or the poppy was meant to be green. My poppy looked like a real poppy.

Handwriting

On the first week back from the holidays we did handwriting. We have different groups for handwriting. we have to do the date first and we have to do our best handwriting. I was one of the people that were first. My letters was r,s,v running swimming and very and a number that was seven.

Welcome back

Welcome back to Carlton school. In the last weeks we went to the library to get a book, and went for a swim too. Also we went to the show for science and Mr Ohia.  I enjoyed swimming. I like to play on the senior play ground with my friends. I have learnt how to play a game called maths tag and how to get on the class website and blog.

            A moment in time

On Tuesday it was athletics.

I saw kids running at long distances.

I saw people jumping up and down like kangaroos in their sacks.

I heard people shouting and laughing.

I heard people cheering and clapping.

I felt hot and sweaty.

I felt excited.

I wonder who won the 7 year old girls sprints?   

Last Tuesday it was the Duffy role model assembly. The whole school went in the hall and there was someone special. Her name is Granny Jo. Then she showed the whole school a book that she wrote. I forgot the name of the book. There was boxes full of books Ms Bennett said Gemma and Liriyah please go and collect the Duffy books for our class.
